Which Reggie Dinkins Character Are You?

Learn More About The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins

The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins is NBC’s mockumentary-style sitcom starring Tracy Morgan as Reggie Dinkins, a disgraced former NFL star desperate to rehabilitate his image and finally earn his place in the Hall of Fame. The show comes from Tina Fey’s and Robert Carlock’s creative orbit, and it carries the same rapid-fire, joke-dense energy fans loved in 30 Rock and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.

The hook is a documentary within a show. Reggie hires Arthur Tobin, an earnest, award-chasing filmmaker played by Daniel Radcliffe, to shoot a redemption-arc documentary. Arthur quickly discovers that capturing the “real” Reggie means wading into a household full of big personalities, bruised egos and nonstop scheming — and that his own life is about to become part of the story.

Erika Alexander plays Monica, Reggie’s ex-wife and the business manager and agent who keeps his comeback on the rails. Bobby Moynihan is Rusty, Reggie’s former teammate and ride-or-die best friend, while Precious Way plays Brina, Reggie’s fiancée and an aspiring music star, and Jalyn Hall plays Carmelo, Reggie and Monica’s teenage son.

Season 1 premiered in January 2026 and was a strong performer for NBC, earning a quick renewal in May 2026. A deep bench of guest stars helped, including Megan Thee Stallion as Denise, Craig Robinson as Reggie’s rival Jerry Basmati, Corbin Bernsen as Reggie’s old coach, and Ronny Chieng as a rival agent to Monica.

Season 2 premiered on NBC on November 2, 2026, picking up Reggie’s quest for the Hall of Fame and pushing Arthur deeper into the family’s orbit. The new season leans into what made the first one work: the clash between Reggie’s bulletproof confidence and Arthur’s spiraling self-doubt, with Monica as the voice of reason and Rusty as the chaos multiplier.

Part of the fun is that each character is a very recognizable type. Are you a spotlight-loving showman like Reggie, a hyper-observant overthinker like Arthur, a calm closer like Monica, a loyal goofball like Rusty, or a rising star with main-character energy like Brina?
