Which The Body Character Are You?

Learn More About The Body

The Body is an eight-episode Netflix limited series premiering November 11, 2026. It was created by Quinn Shephard, who also serves as showrunner and directs the premiere. Shephard previously made Hulu’s true-crime drama Under the Bridge, and The Body marks her Netflix debut.

The story centers on a group of badly behaved Catholic school girls on their school’s dance team. After a dance-team initiation goes wrong, the girls begin having prophetic visions — and what starts as a secret among teammates spirals into mass hysteria across their town. Netflix’s marketing frames the central mystery with one simple question: what happened to Grace?

Shephard has described the show as gritty camp and a love letter to ’90s and Y2K teen movies and erotic thrillers, naming Carrie, Jennifer’s Body, Heavenly Creatures and Mean Girls among its inspirations. Netflix itself has pitched it as a raunchy teen psychodrama with a dash of Catholic horror.

The cast is led by Kristina Bogic as Anya Butler and Sara Boustany as Elise Zakaria, the team’s captains, alongside Geena Meszaros as Lisbeth Anderson and Shirley Chen as Maddie Delaney. Sofia Wylie plays Grace Franklin, and Nnamdi Asomugha plays Father Samuel Franklin.

The adults and the wider town round out the ensemble: Louisa Krause plays Catherine Anderson, Ashley Madekwe plays Theresa Franklin, and Gabby Windey — known from The Traitors and Dancing with the Stars — plays the dance team’s Coach Miller. Marcel Ruiz (Tyler Santos), Jackson Kelly (Leo Anderson) and Orlando Norman (Steven Maxwell) play some of the guys pulled into the girls’ orbit.

Part of what makes the premise so fun for a personality quiz is that every character reacts to the strange visions differently — some lean in, some try to explain them away, and some seem to know more than they let on. Your answers above map your instincts onto five of the show’s key players.
