Ghost in the Shell returns to screens in 2026 with a new anime adaptation of Masamune Shirows cyberpunk classic, produced by Science SARU. Set in a near future where cybernetic bodies and networked minds blur the line between human and machine, the series follows Public Security Section 9 as they hunt hackers, terrorists, and rogue AIs through the sprawl of New Port City.
