Learn More About The Real Housewives of New York City
The Real Housewives of New York City has always been the franchise that started it all, literally. Premiering in 2008, RHONY was the second Housewives series Bravo ever produced, and it helped define the template for the entire genre: wealthy women, a shared social circle, and enough simmering tension to fuel a decade of reunion specials. After the show went on an extended hiatus and relaunched with an entirely new cast in 2023, Season 16 marks another reset, blending three familiar faces with three brand-new Housewives and one high-profile returning "friend of."
Season 16 brings back Erin Lichy, Jessel Taank, and Sai De Silva, three women who anchored the rebooted cast and have become fan favorites for very different reasons. Erin Lichy, a Manhattan real estate entrepreneur and mother of four, has built a reputation as the group's most put-together multitasker, even as this season finds her juggling a flooded Hamptons home, business challenges, and the recent loss of her father. Jessel Taank, meanwhile, brings big personality and even bigger parties, this season includes a Bollywood-themed birthday bash, while quietly processing grief and tension at home with her husband, food influencer Pavit Randhawa. Sai De Silva rounds out the returning trio while navigating a very public divorce playing out in real time.
Joining them are three new Housewives who instantly shook up the group dynamic. Hailey Glassman, a public relations professional with a long history in tabloid headlines from her early-2000s relationship with Jon Gosselin, brings an offbeat, unfiltered sense of humor to the cast. Erika Hammond, a former WWE Diva turned fitness entrepreneur and co-founder of Rumble Boxing, lives a life of extreme luxury, including a private island getaway for the group, while opening up about a much more private struggle with fertility. Daisy Toye, a celebrity makeup artist with two decades in the beauty industry, adds a glitzy, shopaholic energy while grappling with the toll her career has taken on her marriage.
Adding a jolt of nostalgia to the mix is Carole Radziwill, who first appeared on RHONY back in 2012 and returns this season as a "friend of the cast" after a long absence. Her return has been teased heavily by Bravo, with hints that an old, emotionally charged storyline from her past resurfaces at the worst possible moment.
Season 16 premieres September 8 at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo, with episodes streaming the next day on Peacock. Early promotional materials promise the same ingredients that have kept the Real Housewives universe thriving for nearly two decades: shifting alliances, fractured friendships, and women who are only getting started when the cameras roll.

Whether you gravitate toward Erin's steady competence, Jessel's larger-than-life warmth, Sai's fierce loyalty, Hailey's chaotic charm, or Erika's fearless ambition, New York's newest Housewives prove that reinvention is always possible, as long as you can survive the group chat.
