Which Stick Character Are You?

Learn More About Stick

Stick is Apple TV’s golf comedy starring Owen Wilson as Pryce Cahill, a former PGA Tour player whose promising career fell apart years ago. Now broke, divorced and selling golf clubs, Pryce stumbles onto Santi (Peter Dager), a quiet teenage prodigy with a natural swing — and decides that coaching the kid might be his own second chance.

Season one turned that premise into a road-trip comedy. Pryce, his gruff best friend and former caddie Mitts (Marc Maron), Santi’s fiercely protective mom Elena (Mariana Treviño), and the free-spirited Zero (Lilli Kay) piled into an RV and headed from tournament to tournament, forming the kind of messy found family that sports comedies do best. Judy Greer plays Pryce’s ex-wife Amber-Lynn, and Timothy Olyphant pops up as his old rival Clark Ross.

Season two premieres on Apple TV on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, with two episodes, followed by a new episode every week through December 30. This time Santi is chasing a professional career and learning how fast the pressure climbs when talent turns into expectation.

Pryce, meanwhile, is betting on himself. Encouraged by Clark, he attempts a comeback that could make him the oldest golfer ever to win a major — and the season forces him to confront why he never lived up to the promise everyone once saw in him.

Rhea Seehorn joins the cast as Amanda, a new coach who works with Pryce, alongside new additions including Billy Zane, Sasha Alexander, Missi Pyle, Rex Linn and snooker legend John Higgins. Seehorn, coming off her acclaimed work in Better Call Saul and Pluribus, gives the show another sharp comic presence.

What makes Stick work is that the golf is almost secondary. It’s a show about second chances, mismatched people who need each other, and the strange family you build in a cramped RV — which is exactly why it’s so fun to figure out which member of the crew you’d be.
