Amazon MGM Studios' Tomb Raider reboots the iconic video game franchise as a live-action series starring Sophie Turner as Lara Croft, the fearless archaeologist and adventurer. Created and written by Phoebe Waller-Bridge, the series blends canon characters from the games with new additions built specifically for the show.

Sigourney Weaver joins as Evelyn Wallis, a mysterious, high-flying figure looking to exploit Lara's talents, while Jason Isaacs plays Atlas DeMornay, Lara's uncle, and Bill Paterson takes on the role of Winston, the longtime Croft family butler. Martin Bobb-Semple rounds out the core group as Zip, Lara's tech support and longtime friend.

Production began in early 2026, with Amazon unveiling a first-look image of Turner in Lara's signature gear, complete with dual pistols, a tactical belt, and the character's iconic braid. The series promises to bring the beloved franchise's blend of adventure, mystery, and family drama to the screen in a whole new way.
