That's So Raven premiered on Disney Channel in January 2003 and quickly became one of the network's biggest hits. Starring Raven-Symoné as Raven Baxter, a San Francisco teenager who sometimes gets psychic visions, the sitcom ran for four seasons and set a record at the time for the most episodes of any Disney Channel original series.

The premise was simple and endlessly repeatable. Raven sees a glimpse of the future, misinterprets it, and then tries to fix things with a plan that spirals into chaos. Anneliese van der Pol played Chelsea Daniels, Raven's endlessly cheerful best friend, while Orlando Brown played Eddie Thomas, the goofy pal always chasing a snack or a laugh. Kyle Massey played Raven's younger brother Cory, whose schemes were usually about money, and Rondell Sheridan and T'Keyah Crystal Keymáh played their parents, Victor and Tanya.

The show also stood out for how it treated family. The Baxters were funny, loving and a little chaotic, and the series regularly landed a gentle lesson about honesty, friendship or self-confidence without ever feeling preachy. That mix of heart and slapstick is a big reason fans still rewatch it today.

That's So Raven also launched two spinoffs. Cory in the House followed Cory and his father to Washington, D.C., in 2007, and Raven's Home brought Raven back as an adult single mom with her own psychic family in 2017. The sequel series ran for several seasons and proved the character still had a loyal audience.
