Austin & Ally premiered on Disney Channel in December 2011 and ran for four seasons through 2016. The musical sitcom starred Ross Lynch as Austin Moon, a charismatic singer with big dreams, and Laura Marano as Ally Dawson, a gifted songwriter with terrible stage fright who works at her father's music store in Miami.

Ross Lynch later went on to star in Disney's Teen Beach Movie and in the band R5, while Laura Marano appeared in the film To All the Boys: Always and Forever. Their careers stayed in the spotlight, and fans still hope for a reunion that brings the Miami gang back together.
