Every Year After premiered on Prime Video June 10, 2026, adapting Carley Fortune's bestselling novel Every Summer After into a dual-timeline series about first love, loss, and the complicated pull of a hometown you never fully leave behind. Sadie Soverall stars as Persephone "Percy" Fraser, who returns to the lake town of Barry's Bay after a tragedy and finds herself face-to-face with the friends, and the first love, she left behind. Matt Cornett plays Sam Florek, her childhood best friend turned first love turned painful falling-out.

The series unfolds across two timelines, with Juliette Hawk and Blue Clarke playing younger versions of Percy and Sam during the summers that defined their bond. Michael Bradway rounds out the Florek family as Sam's older brother Charlie, while Elisha Cuthbert plays their mother Sue, whose illness and death loom over the entire story and are ultimately what bring Percy back to town. Aurora Perrineau and Abigail Cowen play Chantal and Delilah, Percy's closest friends navigating their own complications while trying to hold the group together.
