Shane Gillis's Netflix comedy "Tires" returns for its third season in 2026, continuing the chaotic, low-budget charm that made it a surprise hit for the standup-turned-showrunner. The series follows Will, the anxious, seemingly unqualified heir to his father's struggling auto-repair chain, as he tries to keep the Valley Forge Automotive Center afloat while constantly being undermined, tormented, and occasionally helped by his loudmouth cousin Shane.

Steve Gerben plays Will, a guy who never wanted this job and is visibly stressed out by nearly every decision he has to make running it. Gillis plays Shane, the show's chaos engine, an employee whose main interests seem to be messing with Will and doing the absolute minimum required to keep his paycheck coming. Their cousin dynamic, equal parts affection and torment, is the engine that drives most of the show's best episodes.

Chris O'Connor plays Cal, a tight-lipped fellow employee whose deadpan delivery and refusal to engage with the shop's constant chaos makes him one of the show's most reliable sources of dry comedy. Kilah Fox plays a character sharing her own name, the only woman working at Valley Forge Automotive Center, and often the only person in the building actually trying to run things like a functioning business. Stavros Halkias rounds out the core cast, bringing his own laid-back, unbothered energy to a shop that desperately needs someone, anyone, to take things seriously.

Season 3 brings in a wave of new faces alongside the returning cast, including Thomas Haden Church and Veronika Slowikowska, plus guest appearances from Vince Vaughn, Jon Lovitz, and Ron White. All 12 episodes of the previous season landed on Netflix in a single drop, a release strategy the show has stuck with to encourage binge-watching its tight, joke-dense half-hour episodes.

What's kept "Tires" running past its initial novelty is the specificity of its setting. Auto shops are a genuinely underused backdrop for workplace comedy, and the show mines real, grimy authenticity out of Will's day-to-day headaches, absurd customers, broken equipment, a cousin who treats the whole enterprise like a personal playground, in a way that feels distinct from the more polished workplace sitcoms it's often compared to.
