GOAT is a Sony Pictures Animation sports comedy set in the anthropomorphic city of Vineland, where the most popular sport is Roarball, a high-intensity, full-contact version of basketball played by the fiercest animals around. The story follows Will Harris (voiced by Caleb McLaughlin), a tiny goat with massive dreams, who gets a shock invitation to join the professional Vineland Thorns after a video of him outplaying a star athlete goes viral.

Will has to prove himself to his much larger, skeptical teammates, including towering veteran giraffe Lenny Williamson (voiced by NBA superstar Stephen Curry, who also produced the film) and tough-as-nails coach Archie Everhardt (David Harbour). Gabrielle Union, Nicola Coughlan, Nick Kroll, Jenifer Lewis, and Jennifer Hudson round out the voice cast in a story about proving that heart and agility can matter more than size.

Directed by Tyree Dillihay, GOAT blends vibrant animation with real basketball culture, ending with Will leading the Vineland Thorns to the Claw Championships and cementing his own status as the greatest of all time.
