Haunted by the memory of a patient who died under her care while she worked as a nurse in a warzone hospital, Agnes comes to Zauberwald seeking an absolution she's convinced only God, or Masha, can provide. Her storyline threads through the season as one of its most quietly devastating.

Annie Murphy plays Imogen O'Clair, the estranged daughter of Christine Baranski's Victoria, who lost her father young and has never been able to fully grieve him. At the retreat, Imogen bonds with Henry Golding's Peter Sharpe, the son of a powerful media mogul, over their shared difficulty connecting with distant, complicated parents. Their friendship becomes one of the season's emotional anchors, two guarded people slowly letting each other in.

Season 2 also expands its supporting cast with newcomers like King Princess as Tina, Maisie Richardson-Sellers as Wolfie, and Lucas Englander as Martin, each adding new layers to the ensemble as Masha's retreat pushes every guest toward a reckoning they didn't necessarily sign up for. As with the first season, the show balances dark psychological drama with moments of dry, uncomfortable comedy, never quite letting the audience decide whether Masha is a genius or a con artist.
