Which Mission: Yozakura Family Character Are You?

Learn More About Mission: Yozakura Family

Mission: Yozakura Family follows Taiyo Asano, a kind-hearted loner who loses his family and has only one person left in his life: his classmate Mutsumi Yozakura. When he learns that Mutsumi comes from a legendary family of spies, he marries her to protect her, and moves into a household that is equal parts home and highly trained strike team.

The series blends spy action with a warm family comedy. Taiyo is not a natural fighter. He starts as an ordinary person and grows into something much stronger through training, which gives the story a satisfying shonen backbone while keeping its emotional center on found family.

Mutsumi is the heroine and the tenth head of the Yozakura family. She is sweet, loving and responsible, and her gentleness is the thing that holds the household together. Her siblings are far more eccentric. Kyoichiro, the eldest, works as the school vice principal and is so overprotective that he clashes with Taiyo constantly. Futaba is a martial artist who comes across as strict and violent but has a caring, motherly streak.

Shinzo is the weapons specialist with a famously fragile heart. Shion is the hacker who seems nonchalant but is intensely competitive. Kengo is the disguise expert who would rather have fun than work, and Nanao is the youngest, a medical genius and the kindest sibling, though with an unintentional dark side.

That mix is what makes the show so fun to build a personality quiz around. Each sibling has a distinct specialty and a distinct way of showing love, so there is a Yozakura for almost every temperament: the quiet protector, the competitive prankster, the fighter with a soft center.

The anime keeps the manga tone: fast, funny, and surprisingly sincere. Season 2 returned in October 2026, which has put the family back in the conversation for fans of spy comedies and family-centered action series.
